Deborah Hubble Smith M.C., RCT

Hi, I’m Deborah!

I am a Registered Counselling Therapist.  Clients often tell me that what has helped them most when talking with me is that they felt heard and understood – not judged.  I help people who long to ignite a long-lasting, caring relationship with themselves and others but often find it easier to be critical than compassionate.

I support people to embrace compassion for themselves and others, so they can repair relationships and invite joy back into their lives. In our busy world, where everyone asks us to “connect” on social media, it is easy to feel disconnected – from our friends, from family, from colleagues, from our own emotions.

Deborah Hubble Smith, Counsellor in Bedford, Nova Scotia

I invite you to connect with me, so I can help you bring more satisfying relationships back into your life.  Schedule a free 15 minute consultation call, so we can talk, and you can decide if I can help you start on a journey toward stronger connections with the people that matter most to you.

Deborah Hubble Smith Specializes in:

COUPLES & MARRIAGES:

Sharing everyday life with another person is challenging! You feel that no matter how hard you try, you and your partner seem to be moving further apart. You alternate between bickering and frosty silence and have run out of ideas or energy to improve this on your own. I can help you and your spouse reconnect with why you fell in love in the first place, and help you develop ways to cope with life’s challenges together.

ADULTS:  Life doesn’t always match up with what you expected or planned. You feel disconnected from your family and friends, even from your own emotions and goals. Life seems like a constant treadmill and you’re stuck feeling anxious and on edge. You’re so tired of pretending that everything is fine and beating yourself up over every mistake. I would love to work with you to help you connect with yourself and decide what steps you can take toward a more satisfying life.
